It's really no big deal, some people have cats...others have elephants.So Friday.... at 4:00ish I receive my favorite call of the work week...Mikey and the Tundy were waiting, ready to pick me up for what I thought was a vacation to San Francisco. Well much to my surprise, as I opened the door to the Tundy I saw an illusion. While I figured it was just from the over load of caffeine I had ingested, coupled with "computer eyes", (you know the kind of eyes you get from looking at a computer screen for too long...ya, those...)I decided to take a double look. I screamed! I realized that it wasn't an illusion, but my parents and Miss T sitting (Miss T running around) in the back seat! What a fantastic surprise!!!
I had to admit, things around the Taylor household were a liiiiittle weird the week prior, and I had actually begun to pout thinking that I was doing something wrong...Come to find out they were all in on the surprise! So all of the secret meetings in the pantry, "private" phone calls, and hush hush conversations were in fact all for me! What a wonderful family I have!
We had so much fun. Mom and Dad were able to experience a Neville summer party, Rosemary's (I told you it was a lot of ice cream dad ;) ), and just some of the beauty Bakersfield has to offer. It was so nice being able to spend time with my mom and dad, I was so grateful they were willing and able to make the trip to come and visit their favorite CA couple :) We love you guys!
