What started out as a road trip up the coast, ended up being the start of forever. After visiting a few parks, and eating the best cheeseburger, and frings on planet earth, Mikey decided that he wanted to walk along the beach before we left for home. Well, as I am quickly figuring out, California is not the easiest place in the world to find a place to park, and so against my will, we ended up parking illegally on the corner of Ocean and Glendale...don't tell ;) I love how sand feels between my toes and so I didn't even think twice before leaving my shoes in the car and taking off for the beach; leaving Mikey to try and catch up. I waited at the top of the sand for him and grabbed his hand, because that's just what we do :) I could feel his heart beat in his fingers the longer we walked, but I just figured he needed to go to the gym more often or something; the puzzle didn't quite fit together at this point. (ummm that was a joke for anyone who didn't catch it ;) hahaa!) After hassling him for forgetting a blanket to sit on, he pulled me in for one of my favorite things; a Mikey T hug, and to tell me that he had something for me. I was beginning to have a slight suspicion that something fishy was about to take place... He knelt down on one knee, and looked me in the eye and told me that he loved me and that he wanted to spend forever together. He pulled out a blue box with a white bow tied neatly on top, and asked me to open it. Of course at this point I am semi freaking out and kept trying to hug and kiss him, but he was persistant that I open the box, so I did. He asked me to marry him as I layed my eyes on the two beautiful diamond rings sparkling in the sunlight. It wasn't even a question...I said yes!!! He placed the rings on my finger, we pulled each other in for an embrace, and it was the most amazing moment ever. The sand, the ocean waves crashing in the background, my favorite person in the whole world, and the thought of forever were all there to make my moment amazing. We weren't the only two who thought we were special either...we got applause's and congratulations from a group of beach-goers, whom we didn't know were watching :) I am so happy to start life with you Mikey Taylor...I love you.It wouldn't be official without our ring dance! hahahah!!!
