The big 30

The big 30 is finally here and i cant believe it haha. Life goes by so stinking fast, it seems like just yesterday i was walking accross the stage getting my high school diploma and now im an old fart haha. A good friend of mine david bunting and i decided to start my 30's off with a bang so we had a nice birthday party at my parents place with relatives and some friends over for steak and jakes tex mex chocolate cake ( the best cake on planet earth ) haha. my dad and i went to a butcher shop and bought 11 lbs of ribeye steak and then i went and bought some tri tip on top of that so there would be no shortage of meat. my awesome sisters brought some salad and cowboy potatoes and chips and salsa as well. needless to say it was a big success and everyone had a great time. I always love having family and friend get togethers and this was just another excuse to have one. I wish i could have had all my family and friends here we sure did miss all of you. I am so thankful for the first 29 wonderful years of life and for all the friends and family members i have been blessed to be around and enjoy. I love life so much and look forward to the future and all it holds for me. If it is just a fraction as awesome as my first 30 than im in good shape haha. I have to say i have been able to do so many memorable things in my young life. everyone that knows me knows that i am always on the go traveling somewhere to do something fun haha. now i just need to add a family of my own and im set haha. here are just a few pics of my party i should have taken more but you know us men we always slack on the details haha. I thought the birthday card my buddy loren got me was hilarious, sorry it is sideways for some reason.

pebble beach

this weekend my friend jerrol kiger and i attended the at&t golf tournament at pebbel beach. Jerrols bank had a suite there and gave him two tickets so he gave me the invite and i couldnt turn it down. this tournament is extra fun because it is a pro am so the pros play with celebs. It had been super stormy all week there so we didnt know what to expect, it was even raining on us all the way there from palo alto to carmel but once we arrived it turned out to be somewhat of a nice day other than the cold winds haha. we were really early so we could watch all the players tee off on the first tee so we watched them warmup on the putting green and it was fun to see, peyton manning, luke wilson, kelly slater, carson daly, kevin james, ray romano, justin timberlake, andy garcia, george lopez, charles schwab, huey lewis, billy murray, dan marino, lynn swann, and many other celebs haha. it was fun to watch them hack around the golf course and to see the patience of the pros playing with them. we liked following phil mickelson and freddy couples as well. I had never been to pebble beach and as a golfer everyone knows it is the ultimate place to play golf other than augusta national so i was in heaven just walking the course. i have promised myself that i will return as soon as possible to play it now haha. i better save up because it isnt cheap thats for sure. they said no cameras and no phones so i couldnt get any pictures which really irritated me especially when we got in and saw people had snuck there cameras in so i have no footage of the event but oh well it was still a great time and i have to say thanks to big kiger for the invite. good looking out big man.

a trip to paradise

I couldnt get the waterfall picture to rotate but i hope you can see how cool it was. we hiked for an hour and finally reached it and it was amazing. the waterfall is over 1000 feet high and the pool at the base was sweet. we all jumped in and swam but not very long because it was cold haha. the hike up was through jungle like conditions which made it that much funner. we also scuba dived three times and saw turtles, eels and lots of colorful fish. it was also whale season so we could hear them which was cool. We spent the rest of our time enjoying the beach, sun and ocean. We had some great dinners and spent some quality time at night playing cards, watching movies and just hanging out. I cant wait to do it again. here are a few pics. enjoy
